I had the best experience with Indian food catered by India sweets&spices on Los Feliz Boulevard. We had both, contemporary American and Indian cuisine, and Jodi, the bride was
thriving on all the compliments about the wedding from her new Indian in laws - which of course made me look good as the planner too. After a couple years of wedding coordination in California I learned to appreciate the excellence of my vendors and associates. Luckily I have only a few on the "never again" list.
Indian culture and colors serve as inspiration for many brides in 2009/2010, where the trend goes to vibrancy versus white.
Jo and Ed, who will celebrate their wedding at the Malibu Nature Preserve on May 23, 2009 were inspired by the site of Ed's proposal: a boat on the river Ganges in India and the amazing, in beautiful bowls floating flowers everywhere.
