Union Station Weddings Los Angeles

Kelly and Kyle met on a train ride from Los Angeles to Chicago two years ago - logically they want to get married at Union Station.
As they moved to NY I have the pleasure to scout it for them. Getting inspirations today. Exciting.
Stay tuned for pictures.

Green Wedding 101
Check out gorgeous green ideas

Garden wedding, green and glorious

Linda and Mike celebrated their wedding at the Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga, CA, on November 9, 2013, with happiness bursting at the seams.

Dances were choreographed.

 Birthdays were honored...

A gorgeous cake was cut.

Sparklers were lit and sparkled...

And they live happily ever after, riding his bike and her beautiful horses.

Nougat favors were enjoyed.

Giedra from GD designers did one her her cute and whimsical flowers jobs.

Angelica Weihs Events planned and coordinated the wedding. Linda and Mike expressed their happiness at weddingwire: ....Although I can be a control freak and perfectionist, for once I actually felt comfortable letting go and just letting Angelica handle everything that day. I did not peek out of my dressing room even once to check if everything was just right. And I definitely didn't need to...Not only did Angelica get every detail right, she even added a few of her own touches that improved upon the set up I had requested...."

Storytelling wedding cake

Your wedding is your movie in which you star; let your wedding cake be part of the story telling - with the danger that every guest wants to see it. You might want to count with an hour before the actual cake cutting.

DIY Wedding napkins

Trend alert: creative designs on stamped napkins - not just your initials...

My super creative couple, Deb and Beau had an amazing stamp made of Beau's French lineage crest and had fun with their DIY assembly line. They stamped 250 beige cotton napkins for their French country wedding in June. And look at these other designs, so inspiring.

No time to do the print job? Find them at Etsy, of course.

First you need your custom made stamps...

Then you can get stamp crazy and use them for all your stationary, favors, table runners...

Also on the fab idea of vintage handkerchief invites..

... and ironing on some freezer paper if you really wanna work.

Fun to create and who wouldn't want to get such cool little art pieces in the mail?

Comic books wedding inspiration

Not just for the nerdy couple: you don't have to dress up as super girl to have fun with the happily-in-your-face comic book design for invitations, save the dates, favors and name tags. A touch of super hero is sweet to show your courage to commit. (or anything you're heroic about)

The digital version  beams super power invites into eco spheres. Powerfully green...

For the guest book with bubbles for comments.

As table numbers...
As escort cards...

Using the comic inspiration for a sleek and stylish appeal.

Or go less obvious with sci-fi quirkiness and wink at the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Be aware that with an invite like this all the invited will come to survive some party dangers...

And they'll love to take your preserved super people centerpieces home.
